The PowerRenter status is a recognition awarded to Giggster renters who consistently demonstrate responsibility, reliability, and respect during their bookings. Similar to the Superhost program for hosts, PowerRenter highlights renters who maintain a high standard of conduct and contribute positively to the Giggster community.

🌟 What are the benefits of being a PowerRenter?

PowerRenters enjoy:

  • A PowerRenter badge on their profile.

  • Increased trust with hosts

  • Early access to select features and promotions

βœ… How do I qualify for PowerRenter status?

To become a PowerRenter, you must meet all of the following criteria:

  1. 10+ Completed Bookings with Reviews

You need to have at least 10 completed bookings that have been reviewed by the host. These reviews must be positive overall, demonstrating trustworthiness and respectful behavior.

  2. No Ignored Claims

You must not have any claims (e.g., damage or policy violations) that you’ve left unresolved or ignored. Guests are expected to engage constructively with the Resolution Center if a claim arises.

  3. No Major Complaints from Hosts

Repeated reports or serious feedback from hosts about poor behavior, unaddressed damage, or violation of house rules can disqualify you from PowerRenter consideration.

πŸ”„ How often is PowerRenter status evaluated?

PowerRenter eligibility is reviewed quarterly. If you meet the criteria during the review period, your badge will automatically appear on your profile. If you no longer meet the criteria, the badge will be removed until you're eligible again.

πŸ“Œ Tips to maintain your status:

  • Communicate clearly with your hosts before and during your booking.

  • Follow all house rules and treat each space with care.

  • Leave the location in good condition.

  • Respond promptly if any issues arise.
