Go to your “messages” tab and click on your chat with the renter
Once inside the chat, click the green “send a custom rate” button on the right-hand side, fill out the form and send it to the renter
The custom rate is a tool we developed for hosts to send special offers to renters that differ from the location’s listed prices.
For example, if you are chatting with a renter and you choose to give them a slight discount on your hourly rate, you can send them a custom rate to close the booking at the correct price.
Fun Fact: Our custom rate tool has an addendum section where you can add in custom rules and clauses specific to your location. This will automatically update in the location agreement.
