If for some reason you can’t accommodate bookings during a particular period of time, it is important to reflect this in your listing’s calendar.

If the listing becomes unavailable for a short and specific period of time, the best way to show it is by blocking the dates on the calendar. You can do it manually or by syncing your calendar with an external calendar (Google, Apple, and others).

To block the dates on the calendar manually, go to the Listings tab and click on the calendar icon in the top right-hand corner. A new window will open and you will be able to click on the dates and set up the status: available or blocked.

On the same page, you can also sync your calendar with an external calendar via direct sync or Ical. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and sync calendars to reflect availability correctly on your listing’s page.

If your listing should be made unavailable for an undetermined period of time, you can draft it until you are ready to resume hosting.

If you need further help with adjusting your listing’s availability, don’t hesitate to contact Giggster Customer Support at contact@giggster.com or via the Help Chat on our site.
