How do I cancel a booking?
We understand that there are times when unexpected circumstances may arise, so you may need to cancel your booking. Don't worry! We're here to lend a helping hand and guide you through the process with ease and understanding.
Understanding Booking Types:
Before we jump into the cancellation process, let's distinguish between two types of bookings: unaccepted (booking requests) and accepted (paid and confirmed).
Canceling a Booking Request:
To cancel an unaccepted booking (booking request), follow these simple steps:
Go to the "Bookings" tab.
Within the "Upcoming bookings" section, locate the pending booking request that requires cancellation.
Click on the "Details" option to access all the relevant information.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you'll find the "Cancel request" button.
Click the "Cancel request" button. Your request will be cancelled immediately.
Please bear in mind that we only charge your card on file if and when the host approves your booking request.
Canceling a Confirmed Booking:
If you find yourself in a situation where you need to cancel a paid booking, we're here to assist you personally.
